Massena Red Sox defeated Midwest Baseball 8-2 in the championship game of the Harvest Tournament in Westphalia on Sunday. The Sox had a big 8th inning, scoring 5 runs to extend their 3-2 lead and take control of the game. Massena had solid offensive production up and down t...he line-up (offensive stats to come). Winning pitcher Taylor Kauffman was impressive in the win, throwing a complete game; center fielder Trevor Conner was also impressive in the field, making big defensive plays throughout the game. The Sox had a great crowd on hand to cheer them on and celebrate the win after the game!

"With over 60 teams playing PeeWee Baseball, the Massena Red Sox were the last team standing, winning the state title with a 3-2 win over Elk Horn-Kimballton on Monday July 12, 2010."

each of the 3 pitchers threw complete games
