Massena is celebrating their 125Th (Quasquinentennial) and the plans are to celebrate on July 2,3,4 of 2011. Further details will be posted. An alumni banquet date has been set for Sunday July 3rd at the CAM School starting with social at 4:00 and catered dinner at 6:00. Save the date. The Massena Historical Society restored, maintains and gives tours of a country school house, barber shop and gas station. The country school house, Victoria No. 8, was brought in to town from Victoria Township.

 

Every 3 July the local sponsors a volunteer fire department street dance on Main street to raise money for the fire department. 

 

Baseball has a strong tradition in Massena. Massena's local team is the Massena Red Sox, formally the Cumberland Red Sox, which has been in existence sine the 1920s.
